JetEdge CNMA inserts use a negative, double-sided 80° rhombic format with a flat-top cutting surface. The strong cutting edge is intended for stable continuous and lightly interrupted turning of cast iron.
The flat-top geometry is selected where edge strength and predictable wear are more important than aggressive chip forming.
