JetEdge grades are positioned according to the workpiece material, coating type, machining operation and cutting condition. The grade number is a JetEdge internal application designation and should not be compared number-for-number with another brand.

Coating: PVD
Hardness range: 50 HRC and above
Application: Light-to-medium machining of hardened steel
Cutting condition: Stable or lightly interrupted cutting
Availability: Non-stock grade; available for technical evaluation and project-based supply
For demanding hard turning above approximately 55 HRC, high-precision finishing or extended tool-life requirements, PCBN solutions may also need to be evaluated.
